We have for more than 30 years represented Eriez Magnetics Europe Ltd with the delivery of solutions for metal-excretion vha. Magnets. Knowledge of both the manufacture and use of the magnets has changed greatly since its inception. Today we supply tape magnets based on permanent or electromagnets and with specified magnetic fields adapted to its use.
Most facilities are based on magnetic solutions for the outlet of steel reinforcement, bolts, screws, nails and fittings etc. from crushed concrete or the crushed work. Several magnets are also supplied for humpbacks where one wants to prevent steel from getting into fine-crushers. Combined with a metal detector, one will be able to ensure that ferrite metal is also prevented in the further process loop.
Eriez has developed a band magnet with two-piece magnet (TP=Twin Pole). This one has a very good attribute in removing metal without the metal being hanging vertically and can damage the tape.
